USPS plugin not calculating properly

The USPS plugin is giving the same price if I have "Product A" quantity 1 or "Product A" quantity 5. What needs to be done to get it to multiply the rate if the product quantity is more than one?

Perhaps my example wasn't very clear. Let's say one book costs $5 to ship. If a customer wants to buy 10 of those books, the shipping cost should be more for the 10 than the $5 it was for the one, but that is what the plugin is doing on this site. A customer ordered a quantity of one product that should have cost over $100 to ship and yet the customer was only charged Something like $9. Too many of those and my client goes out of business. Because of that, they are, understandably distraught. What must be done to correct that?

I don't know if they would be shipped in individual boxes or not, but the point is that the plugin doesn't seem to take into account that there is more than a quantity of 1 being purchased. 10 books will cost more to ship than 1 book, and yet the shipping comes back the same for 1 or 10. You said that the plugin takes what's in the cart and sends that to USPS to get the shipping rate, but it isn't taking the multiple quantity on a product into account.

The book is just an example. One order this really happened on (and there has been more then one) was for 22 products. One weighs 8 pounds so the 22 weighed 176 pounds. USPS will not send 1 for $9 and 22 for $9.

Shipping method details are attached to my first post. That is showing the USPS plugin that I have set for products that can be sent via media mail. (I'm using a warehouse to designate those.) I have another USPS plugin set up for items that can not be sent via Media Mail. It is set up the same way, but just with Priority and 1st Class mail options and am using a warehouse to designate those.

Attached are screen shots for the product I mentioned previously, which a customer ordered 22 of. The variants are only a women's version and men's version. Product codes are the only differences.

We just fixed an issue through the last version of the Hikashop USPS shipping plugin. Can you download the last Hikashop version through our website, install it and test it again ?

Sorry for the very long delay on this. I've updated to the latest HikaShop and the USPS shipping plugin seems to be working correctly now. Now when I put 1 product in the cart but order a qty of 10 it charges more for shipping than it did for a lower qty, so that is good. I'm going to have my client check the rates to make sure they are coming back accurately.
