Total of your order is too low for all possible shipping methods

-- PHP version -- : 7.0.22

This worked for a couple years now all of a sudden no products can be bought that are less than $99. Anything over $99 uses a manual shipping method and is free shipping and customers can buy products. Anything less than $99 uses the UPS shipping method and all of a sudden doesn't work, people aren't allowed to buy products. Please help. I've tried for hours to figure out....thanks.

Hi,

These messages indicates that the UPS plugin is not able to retrieve the rates from the UPS server.
So either something change in the settings of your UPS shipping method (like you changed a credential), or their counterpart on the UPS account changed, or your server is not able to access the UPS server anymore due to a firewall change at your hosting or something like that.
So please first check these.

Okay Nicolas. I called my hosting co and they said nothing has changed. Everything is the same. I called UPS and they said the same thing. Before I even sent this request in I found out that the UPS password had changed (so I thought I had fixed the problem) and I switched it but it still gives me the "The total of your order is too low for all the possible shipping methods". I created a new UPS shipping method with a new UPS access key and tested that. It returned the same error code. I took off the $99 restriction. Same result.
Sorry to bother you with this but I really don't know what else to do. Thanks for your help....

Hello,

The message "The total of your order is too low for all the possible shipping methods" means that you have an available shipping method in HikaShop which have a weight restriction and that your current cart is below that weight limitation.

Also, there was a change in my clients UPS password. I changed the password to the new correct password and I still get the error message. Would there be an issue where a changed password is stored somewhere so when I change the old password, that it still won't work?

Can you send us screenshots in which we can correctly check :
- Your shipping method configuration page
- How you configured your product used when testing your shipping plugin
- The shipping address used during your test.

So that we can reproduce and test it on our end ?

The following error message was actually coming from the manual shipping method named "Free Shipping" with a "Minimum Price" set to $99.01 :

The total of your order is too low for all the possible shipping methods


Also, your issue seems to be coming from your server, as the response from the UPS platform after sending our request is :

Access denied
You don't have permission to access "Rate" on this server.


You should probably contact your Hosting company about it.

Okay. I have a response back from UPS. They say that one possible issue may be that the plugin developer hasn't made the UPS plugin support TLS 1.2. Can you confirm that the UPS plugin does support and serve up TLS 1.2. If not the plugin will no longer work as per UPS. Thanks.

Hello,

I just tested it today on a local website (using PHP7) and it's working ; the plugin do have the HTTPS support and no action should be required.
So it means that the issue comes from your hosting ; which is not related to HikaShop or our support.

You have to see with your web hosting your SSL version and support of TLS1.2

I just got off the phone with UPS and they said the plugin was sending the request to the wrong address. The correct address should be onlinetools.ups.com/ups.app/xml/Rate

We just changed the address used by the UPS shipping plugin and it's still working fine.
You'll be able to test it after downloading the last Hikashop version through our website and install it.
