Free shipping continental US only

How do I exclude Alaska and Hawaii from free shipping and have it charge actual shipping for those 2 regions?

Hi,

You need to :
- Go in the menu System>Zones
- create a new zone of the type "shipping" with all the free shipping states added as sub zones.
- create a new zone of the type "shipping" with all the non free shipping states added as sub zones.
- Go in the menu System>Shipping methods
- in your existing "free shipping" shipping method(s), select the free shipping states zone in the "zone" setting
- create one or several shipping method(s) with the non free shipping states zone in the "zone" setting so that you can add a shipping cost for them in the "price" setting.
