Error Mondial relay plugin with PHP 8.1.13

-- Joomla version -- : 4.3.4
-- PHP version -- : 8.1.13
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Deprecated: trim(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($string) of type string is deprecated in C:\wamp64\www\fifibrindecuir\plugins\hikashopshipping\mondialrelay\mondialrelay.php on line 432

Hi

I've updated mu Mondial relay plugin to version 1.1.8
It works fine with php 8.0 but I get many error messages with php 8.1.13

Deprecated: trim(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($string) of type string is deprecated in C:\wamp64\www\fifibrindecuir\plugins\hikashopshipping\mondialrelay\mondialrelay.php on line 432

the trim() function seems to be depreciated with php8.1

Can we expect a fix or a new version of the plugin ?

Hello,

These are "warnings" and not fatal errors.
The plugin will work find in a production environnement (since PHP messages should not be displayed to the end-user otherwise it would be a security issue).
But it means that it might be a problem with PHP 8.2 when the warning becomes an error.
We will update the plugin.
