Shipping methods during quick checkout

Hi

In a previous topic I had issues with the shipping methods as the costs appear in the cart and they where wrong as the address was not selected.. I fixed it setting the access level to Registered so the shipping method is selected during checkout after the identification step.

Recently I have noticed that if you create a new user during the checkout or use the quick checkout, the shipping methods are not showed.
When you register a new user during checkout you are not registered? How can i show shipping methods for this two methods?

I don´t really undestand how this two ways of identification works if the user is not registered.

Hi,

If you provide guest checkout, then the user's group won't be "registered". It will be "guest".
So you can't restrict the shipping methods based on the user group if you want to provide shipping for guest checkout.
What I would recommend is configure your checkout workflow so that the shipping method selection happens after the address has been provided by the user:

Hello.
Thanks. I also checked Guests and I do what you suggest. Address selector in one page and shipping method in another and now works fine and i don´t have the no refresh problem when I change the address.

Hello,
I am receiving an error message at check out, after the addresses have been added. I have config the PayPal payment method and FedEx shipping method, all products have prices, weight, and sizes entered and still receiving this error. Can you please help..

Hi,

I don't see a post cost in your shipping address on the screenshot. Please make sure that you're using a real address, otherwise, Fedex won't be able to provide any shipping rates.
Also, it could be a problem in the settings of your shipping / payment methods.
I would first recommend reviewing the points we have listed in our FAQ regarding this:

If you can't find the problem with this, the please provide screenshots of the settings of the shipping / payment method (you can omit the credential fields on the screenshot, for security reasons, but make sure you've filled them properly).
