Hello,

I have a default tax category for my country. It works fine, it is a Goods and Services Tax (like VAT) of 10%. All good.

However in some cases I have to also apply an extra Tax on some products.

I can't see how to set up a new Tax Category - in the Categories tree under "Root" I have Product Categories (all set up and working) and Brand (which I don't use). I don't see Tax Categories as an option at the top level.

And if I can create a Tax Category that will apply (say) a 5% tax in a particular product, how do I indicate on that product that both the taxes must apply?

I can't find anything in documentation about this.

Thank you

Tim

Hi,

In the menu "System > Taxes" you will see in the listing that you have a column named "cumulative" tax.
In that same page you have button to edit tax categories and to edit tax rates.
But you can create there some new tax rules and set the new rule as a cumulative tax.

So you will have to create a special new tax category where all your product with the cumulative tax will be assigned.
It will allow HikaShop to add two taxes for these products.
