-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.4
-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.5
-- PHP version -- : 7.0.14
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : chrome
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : none

Coupon percentage is not only applied on product, but also on vat. I've read the forum posts on this subject. but do not get this sorted out.

In the attachments screencopies for the 'apply discount'setting, the coupon setting and the shoppingcart display. In this example I'd like to see a 52 euro discount and not 62,92 (which is a disount incl VAT).

Rgds,
Pierre

Hi,

How are your tax rules configured ?
What about if you change the "apply discounts" setting of the HikaShop configuration ?

TAX rules standard VAT on all products for all customers.

I changed the apply discount setting from ' before VAT' . to ' After VAT' . and back. No difference.. discount remains with vat included.

Hi,

I was able to reproduce the problem.
You need to change the "apply discount" setting to "after tax" and select "none" as tax in the coupon, and download the install package on our website and install it on yours. That will add a patch to handle coupons without tax based on the untaxed amount.

It seens we're not there yet. Discount is applied as it should, however, VAT is calculated on the full amount resulting in a VAT amount which is too high. As you can see in the screenshot I attached. Any idea's suggestions?

We issued coupons again and the VAT is still calculated on the total amount before discount is applied resulting in a VAT which is too high and causes major headaches. Is there a solution available for this issue?

Hello,

Without more elements, like your VAT rates and the way your coupon have to work, and maybe a new screenshot (of actual results), understand root issue will be difficult for us.
Awaiting new from you.

Please find attached two screenshots. Coupon is set at 20%. VAT is 21% on all products.

Ordertotal is 319,32 (correct)
Coupon should be 63,86 but shows as 77,28 (not correct)
Shipment 0 (correct)
VAT shows as 50,83 which is not correct it should be 53,65
NET total shows as 309,10 which is correct

So The coupon shows the discount + VAT (not correct) .

Hello,

The cart view respect your display configuration, and you choose to display product price WITHOUT taxes, and so If add your taxes to your subtotal, I get this :
319.32 + 61.05 (21% of 319.32 Euro) = 386.37 Euro.

As you know, a discount or a coupon have to calculated from the total price (with taxes), then :
20% of 386.37 Euro = 77.275 Euro
so I guess that you activated the round price option, and so calculation are good, the point is display options.

Maybe display both, price without & with taxes would be a good compromise and more understandable.
Hope this will help you.

Regards
