URGENT- Tax on shipping price

Hi

We have a shippng method defined for Express delivery INR 1000. Now I want to charge 18% tax on 1,000 and show it in the cart as INR 1,180 after applying 18% tax on INR 1,000. Can you please suggest what settings should I made in the attached screenshot to achieve the above?

Setting the "Product tax category" option to the one in which the "18%" tax is applied will do the job.

I did it but it is showing wrong as given in the below screenshot shown by arrows. Rather adding 18% GST on 1,000, it has deducted from it! I want INR 1,000 plus 18% GST of it added to it which will be equal to INR 1,1180. How do we do this?

I think your issue is coming from the way you have configured your taxes via "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Main", especially the "Floating tax prices" option, Can you test it with a different value ?
