Hi,

I updated to version 4.4. A client submitted a coupon of € 50,00. Now in the order the amount of the coupon is € 60,50, 21% tax was added to the coupon. Could this be a bug? See screenshots for the settings.

Hi,

I would recommend to turn on the "automatic tax" setting of the coupon.
Also, make sure that the "Apply coupons" setting of the HikaShop configuration is set to "before taxes" and it should count the coupon's taxes properly.

Hi Nicolas,

These are allready the settings I use. It adds the tax to the coupon since the latest update. Please try it yourself on this productpage:

Hi,

Please provide a screenshot of the settings of this coupon.
Please also provide a screenshot of the System>Taxes menu and another of the Taxes section in your Hikashop configuration.

Hello,

If you don't want to apply some tax on your coupon, then you must define in your Coupon settings, the "Product tax category" on "None".
Hope this will fit your needs.

I don't understand the solution you suggest. Wer'e using the Hikaserial coupons for years now and never had this problem before? It occured after the latest update of Hikashop. Why should I alter all the existing coupons to fix this problem?

Hello,

You say that you have perform an update, we don't know from which HikaShop version you have start the process, but there are a good chance that while this update you have the new way to process tax with Discount & Coupons.

And so I guess that you have set your configuration to reach your desired result, but as the management have change to be more consistent.
I know it can be a bit confusing but by the past and with other configuration reach the required configuration can be impossible.

Now, I analyze more your needs and your configuration screenshot from your first post, and on the other hand, you'right I make a mistake, you don't want to define in Coupon the Product tax category, leave it like you stetted it.

BUT you want to move in Main HikaShop configuration, and in Tax part, the Apply coupons option to After Taxes.
Can you process some test and confirm my idea, please ?

Regards
