Vote star is not visible, number is showing

Vote star is not visible, instead number is showing.
Installed jQuery Easy as per other post in forum, still not working.

Other plugin used are: XMAP, disabled it but no luck.

Hi,

The file "vote.js" requires mootools.
It is planned that we re-write the javascript in order to not use mootools anymore but for the moment, it is still require.

Hi Jeromi, thanks for reply. Does that mean I cant not use (and should disable vote) vote unless a new update is released? any probable timeline when that can available? thanks in advance.

Hi,

We do not have any timeline for this feature ; it's in the TODO list with more than 80 other points.
My recommendation is more about letting your website accept to use mootools. HikaShop try to include mootools to make the vote works, if your website (template or plugin I don't know) refuse the lib inclusion, the vote won't work (and other features in HikaShop which requires mootools to work properly).

Even if we update the vote lib, mootools is still require by HikaShop ; the migration to stand-alone js / jquery is not completed yet and the vote lib is not the only one.

Thanks Jerome. After installing Bootstrap 2 based template all problem solved. Vote and star came back, pop up also working for add to cart. Thanks. SOLVED
