Voting stars suddenly disappeared

Hello,

Right before I was launching my webshop, I found out that no vote can be cast anymore because the stars you should select to vote aren't visible anymore somehow. I've invested a lot of money in a custom module to display the latest votes, so it has to work before I can launch the webshop.

I can't find any errors in browser console.

It used to work, don't know why it doesn't anymore. Also worked with the module. Tried disabling the module but that doesn't make it work either.

Can someone please help me? I have little knowledge of coding sadly.

In HikaShop > Configuration > Display > CSS: take.ms/Ddkb4

It worked, but suddenly it doesn't anymore.

I can see the stars, and select them. However when I want to enter a comment it gives me an error:

'Missing value for the comment or the vote value is wrong or unset'

I can't post the vote then.

Edit: it seems that it only works when you click the stars AFTER you place a comment, or click the stars again after placing a comment, as if they are like a confirm button. Can anyone help me with this please? Thanks

What are your settings for the votes and comment ? Do you use the "connected" option ?
If it is, please download the latest version of HikaShop on our website, still 2.6.1 but with latest hot fixes, and install it.

Installing the newest version didn't work. Here are my settings (see attachment).

I hope it's possible to solve, as it's a key feature.

Edit: do note that I've done the CSS edit before, as it was the solution for the stars not showing.

Do you have removed a view override recently or you have some cache enabled on your website ?
I don't edited any code to make it working

The problem remains. It's possible to ignore the error message, and just fill in the rest of the information and click cast vote. However, I've got e-mail from customers saying they don't know what to do and they got this error message.

Because it's an important function of my website, I would like to get it fixed so the error message does not appear.

So the feature is working correctly but the issue is on the error message, right ?
The best would be to do a language override, replace the text "Missing value for the comment or the vote value is wrong or unset" by something like: "Please be sure to click on a star and fill a comment" or something else.

The translation key is: HIKA_VOTE_MISSING_VOTE_COMMENT_VALUE
