Hello,

I have just added a second product to my store with different dimensions and weight to the first product and i have noticed that the calculated shipping cost does not change. Even if i change the shipping address of my test account the price of shipping does not change.

I am currently using HikaShop 1.4.7 and Joomla 1.6.1

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Ryan

It's working on our end. Could you give the URL of your website so that we can check it out ?

What weight did you set for your two products and what do you have in the weight unit option of the hikashop configuration ?

When you say the weight unit, do you mean the weight symbols under System -> Main? That is set to kg,g

For the products it is as follows:

IGLOO Down Light Cover (Single Cover)
Weight: 400.000g
Length: 210.000mm
Width: 120.000mm
Height: 110.000mm

IGLOO Down Light Cover (Box 24)
Weight: 6260.000g
Length: 430.000mm
Width: 395.000mm
Height: 410.000mm

Thank you.

That seems ok. Could you give us an FTP access to your website so that we can put traces in it and check out the problem ?

Also i can make you a user for the joomla back end if you need it.

Hi,

The problem was that you used the dimension unit mm for your products but the main unit is m in your config (the first one). HikaShop always convert all the dimensions into the main unit before any calculus (so that everything is in the same unit). However, that resulted in your dimensions being considered as 0 because the numbers were too small.
I just changed the main unit to mm instead of m and it seems that the problem is resolved.
