upgrade impossible

Hello

We could not install version 1.6. We get the message "Unable to find install package". We read a thread referring to a manual installation but we could not figure out what you meant exactly. Could you please let us know how to upgrade to version 1.6? FYI I have purchased the Business version about 3 weeks ago. Thanks, Regards.

Hi,

You should just download the last Hikashop package through our web site and install it.

Having similar issue - I upload the update file to go from version 1.6.0, to the latest stable version of 2.1.2 and it states in the joomla 1.5 installer that there is an error uploading the file. Checked and other files upload fine.

Also - will this update replace all my settings? I have it fine tuned finally to the way I want it with the language files and promo codes, plus I dont want to loose any customer date, i just want to be on the latest update to take advantage of the new features.

Hi,

You have an upload limitation set to 2MB.
The zip version of HikaShop is now higher than 2MB, so it is recommended to use the "tar.gz" version.
You can download it in the your subscription page: www.hikashop.com/en/account/your-subscriptions.html

:( That didnt work - the tar.gz file when put into the joomla installer said exceeds file size error, the zip didnt say this it just said unable to load.
