No system message after payment

After a succesful payment I don't get a system message which says 'thanks for your order etc..'
Also when I enter a wrong password during login for instance, I don't get a system message.
After a payment, it seems like I do get send to the good page:

index.php?option=com_hikashop&ctrl=checkout&task=after_end&order_id=13

Is this a Joomla thing? Or something else?
