Hi to all, first sorry for my bad english, not my first language, second sorry for post here, i really don't know where to post cause is not a problem, only questions.

My first question is: there is a way i can sell somethin in meter and not in unit, i mean, i have to sell cloth and i can't sell 1-2-3 cloth but i have to sell 1,5-3,7 mt of cloth... there's a way that i can do it?

second: There is a way to say the shipping cost when he start the order, for example, if you buy more than 30 € your shipping cost are free.

third: i still don't understand how and where i can apply discount to my product... i mean, i go in discount, i create a discount and then?? how can i link my discount to my product? i really can't find a guide for this

forth and last: where i can modify the mail that the customer recive, i mean
"L'ordine verrà processato appena riceveremo il pagamento

Grazie ancora per avere ordinato presso www.fantasiediariel.com/ . Arrivederci e a presto

Con i migliori ringraziamenti,
Fantasie di AriEl
"

i want to modify this part. where i have to go?

Thanks for all the help!

Hi,

1. It's possible with a quantity price calculation override plugin and a custom item field:
www.hikashop.com/forum/4-how-to/48193-pr...dGguaHRtbD9sYW5nPWZy
Please note that this require the Business edition.

2. If you want you can add such message at the top of the "step" file of the view "checkout" via the menu Display>Views and it will display at the top of the checkout.

3. Discounts cannot be restricted in the Starter edition. That is only possible in the Essential or Business edition. That's why you didn't find the option for that when you created your discount as you have the Starter edition.

4. If you just want to change the texts, you can do that with translation overrides:
www.hikashop.com/download/languages.html#modify
Otherwise, for more involved modifications, you can modify the emails via the menu System>Emails in the Business edition. Otherwise, you would have to edit the email files directly in the folder media/com_hikashop/mail. Note however that if you edit them directly you will loose your changes when you update HikaShop, so make sure that you have a backup of your changes.

ty for the help, 2 last question, there is a way that i can make a discount when someone buy more product of the same tipe? for example my A cost 3€ but if you buy 5 cost 10€ in tot and not 15?
and i can put a "go to cart" button in my site that allow me to go to the cart for example if someone buy something, then logout and then relog and he don't have to rebuy the item.

Sure, the solution will be to :
- Create a "coupon"
- Use the "product" restriction and set it to your discounted product
- Set the "Auto load in cart if possible" option (commercial editions of HikaShop), to YES, then your coupon will automatically be added to your cart when it's possible.

Hi,
1. I've done some tests through your website :
- I registered
- Logged in
- Added 2 items to my cart
- Went through the checkout
- Logged out
- Logged in
And my 2 items were in my cart.

2.
The solution will be to directly edit your content module which have the ID number 208 through "Hikashop->Display->Content modules->'Your content module with the ID number 208'", and set the "Display 'Add to cart' button" option to NO

Ok, and can you try it through the page : "Hikashop->Display->Content menus->'Content menu which have the ID number 148'"
and if you don't have any "Display 'Add to cart' button" option or if it doesn't change anything your should try to do it with the "Associated modules" of your content menu, you'll be able to access to this module through the link of the "Associated modules" option of your content menu.

Hi,

Well, if the feature is in the commercial edition of HikaShop I will say that the commercial edition of HikaShop will be required.
I don't know what we could tell you.

Otherwise, it is possible to see the products in the cart thanks to the cart module or in the checkout page.
