Are additional discount options coming?

Do you have any additional Discount options planned in future versions? I have searched for options in the forum but cannot find exact ways to certain types of discounts that may be attractive for customers.

For example:

• Buy 3 items get ANY other item free (cheapest free)
• Buy 3 of the same product for the price of 2
• Free shipping if you spend more than X amount

Yes, we already planned to improve our discount system and added it on our TODO list , regarding your 3 points :

1. I'll recommend you to use the Awocoupon extension to do that for the moment.

2. You'll just have to :
- Create a coupon
- Set the "Auto load in cart if possible" option to YES
- Set the "Minimum number of products" option to 3
- Set the "Product" restriction to your product

3. If you want a free shipping if you spend more than X amount, you'll just have to create 2 manual shipping methods :
- A shipping method where you'll set a price, and the Maximum price option to X
- A free shipping method where you'll have to set the Minimum price option to X
