When it comes to the naming of modules I am a bit confused!

How do I know which modules/menus display what in the front end?

For example I the following undisplayed modules in the "Content Modules" section in the back-end of my site...

How do I know what "Associated products listing for category listing menu XXX" does? Do I even need these modules or are they safe to delete?

Many, many thanks in advance,

Jethro.

Hi,

These modules are used by your categories listing menu items.
If you delete them, your categories listing menu items won't display any product after you click on a category. So you should not delete them.
Go in the menu Display>Content menus and check id of each menu item. You'll see that the number in the name of each of the associated modules correspond to the id of the menu item for which it is used.
In fact, when you edit the menu, you'll get both the options of the menu (for the categories listing) and of the module (for the products listing).
