Automatic Updates

-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.4
-- PHP version -- : 5.6.27
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome 54.0.2840.87

I am in the process of creating a site.
My products are only $3, $5, $8 AUD ea.
As I need to create a custom field from 'item', I understand that I need to run HikaShop Business.
I understand that the cost of that is ~ $150 AUD for the first year.
Once I create that custom field and the year lapses, can I still get automatic Startup version updates?
Would auto Startup updates delete the custom field created by the Business version?

Hi,

As written in the product pages :

No limit of time
1 year free updates
1 year free HikaShop support for one website

There is no limit of time which mean that HikaShop will continue to work even if your license as expired.

But, if you update an HikaShop Business using an HikaShop Starter package, you will loose the Business features.
You won't loose your data and you won't loose your custom field, but the feature will be deactivated.

Otherwise, please note that the price of the renewal is cheaper than the product price, specially if you renew for two years.
