Payment Plugins

Hi there. I have searched the forum and have not found anything regarding my question so posting here.
I have a client that we set up on Hika Shop and I think it works great. They do not like the way it works with Paypal and want to switch to another merchant solution. The one they use is: www.innovativegateway.com . It appears that you do not currently have a plugin to handle this and wondered how we go about getting one? Is it possible to create a new one? or have you develop one? Intuit is part of QuickBooks so I am sure this won't be the first request.

Please get back to me as soon as you are able to. The client is getting anxious.

There is indeed no plugin for innovativegateway for HikaShop. You're actually the first one requesting a plugin for that payment gateway (remember that HikaShop is less than a year old).
You have several options:
. You can develop a payment plugin yourself.We have a developer documentation about that: www.hikashop.com/en/support/documentatio...r-documentation.html
. You can ask for a developer to do it for you.
. You can ask us for a quote via our contact form if you would like us to do it for you and have it integrated in HikaShop.

I notice that "Intuit Innovative Gateway" is listed now in your documentation. Has a plugin been developed for this? Do you have some instructions?

Yes, that payment plugin has been added in HikaShop. We didn't had the time to write a documentation but the configuration process should be similar to other payment plugins.
You can access it via the menu System->Payment methods in the back end.

So does that mean someone can pay with Quickbooks? Or does it mean that Hikashop can automatically send orders/payments to Quickbooks? Or both? I'm trying to find an Ecommerce online store solution that will automatically sync with Quickbooks so we don't have to manually put in orders that are received.

It means that you can pay with Quickbooks payment gateway.
We actually don't have a Quickbooks account so I don't know but maybe they have the possibility to transfer the payments to quickbooks easily from the payment gateway managing interface. You would have to ask them about that.

I'm lost.
I have installed and tried to configure the innovativegateway plugin and it wont work. Intuit will give me no support, and i cant find docs on configuration. Please let me know if this plugin works. If so i could use some help.

Hi,

The Innovative Gateway plugin is quite simple to configure.
It just requires a Login and a Password.
That plugin is based on an API based on

transactions.innovativegateway.com/servlet/com.gateway.aai.Aai
And it looks like the website transactions is still working but the website for innovativegateway in not working properly.
Please note that plugin has been created during 2011 and it is possible that they are shutting down that API and do not propose it anymore.
