After going through Hikashop checkout, and then Paypal, the Paypal information, shown after the transaction, indicates "No Address Provided". Is the address the customer enters in Hikashop checkout not being passed to Paypal?

Paypal then assumes "unconfirmed address" when none is provided them.

Also using Community Builder and the Hikashop plugin for Community Builder.

Thanks, Eric

Hi Eric,

In the configuration of the paypal plugin, you can select if you want the system to give to paypal the billing address or the shipping address, or no address at all : www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/i...form.html#additional

Maybe you changed that option ?

It has been set to "Shipping address", resulting in the aforementioned problem.

And you have a shipping address selection during the checkout (the billing address won't be used if you set that setting to "shipping address") ? If your products don't have a weight, the system won't consider them as shippable and the shipping address selection/ shipping method selection screens won't be displayed during the checkout.

Both the Shipping address and Billing address are present on the Hikashop checkout page. Initially there is no address, then an address is entered after clicking "new" button. "Use the same address as for billing" remains checked.

A side note, Perhaps the checkbox could be placed on the left side of "Use the same address as for billing", because if the user's window is too narrow, the checkbox is not visible (at least on Firefox) .

I searched a bit online about the problem and stumbled on that: www.x.com/message/84428?tstart=0

They propose to change the no_shipping value from 1 to 2... Let's give it a try...
Edit the file plugins/hikashoppayment/paypal.php near line 110, you should have:
"no_shipping" => "1",
that you can try to replace by:
"no_shipping" => "2",

Be carefully to reset your cookies or try with another browser as apparently some other user in that thread had trouble seeing the change because of that.

Concerning the checkbox, you don't need to click on it to toggle it. You can click on the text and that will have the same effect. But indeed, it might be more logical to put the checkbox before the text.
