Hi, I had a look through the forums but couldn't find the exact answer...

I want to remove the category title entirely from the page layout - I am sure its easy but not sure where to look...?

thanks

You need to edit your menu via the joomla menu manager. There, on the right of the screen, in the advanced options you should find some options to deactivate the heading/title.

Hi, The Page Title under Page Display Options in the menu configuration is set to No.
The HikaShop Options are set as:

'Use menu name instead of category name for title' is set to yes.
Hikashop Content Module is set to Show Title=No.

Where else could this possibly be displayed from?

see www.fairweatherdesign.com.au/uniquefinds - the menu title "Unique Finds" is displayed and we want to hide it...

thanks for advising

The "Show Page Heading" option should be set to no in the joomla options of your menu.

You talked about the "Page Title" option in your previous post. That option does not exists which is why I asked about that "Show Page Heading" option.
Please also make sure that the "Add Menu Title" option is turned off on that same screen.

Im having the same issue, since recent upgrade I think.
On my category page, the H1 "Product Category" now is displayed, whether or not i choose 'No' for "Show Page Heading" in the 'Page Display Options' panel. If I change the 'Browser Page Title' field, it displays that instead.

Ah,, you are correct, switching off "Add Menu Title" in the 'Link Type Options' pane removed it ? Thanks

Same here - the "Add Menu Title" in the 'Link Type Options' pane removed it. Thanks.

I have same issue, and I try many ways to solve this, but it is not successful.

Menu manager:
- "Show Page Heading" set to "NO"
- "Add Menu Title" option is turned off
- 'Use menu name instead of category name for title' is set to yes.
Hikashop Content Module
- "Show Title" set "No"

Joomla version: 3.9.0

Pls help me.
