payment method Hikashop v1.5.3

Hi all,

My name is Anna, I live in The Netherlands.

I'm new at this, this is the first time I am setting up Joomla 1.6 -->Hikashop v1.5.3

Working good so far, but now:

I need a payment method for Hikashop v1.5.3

I searched with Google and came across this website: www.mollie.nl/betaaldiensten/ideal/modules/

I see that this version is for Hikashop v1.4.7 only.

Is there another version that will work on Hikashop 1.5.3?

Once a year there the Webshop is open for sale. It is an Fireworks webshop.


I hope I explained it well, like I said, totally new at this en looking forward for some answers.

Hi,

That payment plugin should work with any version of HikaShop.
However, looking at the code, I saw that the security measures in place in the plugin are really weak. Anyone ordering on your shop could validate themselves their order by accessing a specific URL which is almost given to them in the HTML of the form redirecting to the payment gateway.
So we would recommend you to not use that payment plugin if you don't check that the payments are really done for each order you ship, although it should work properly.
There are actually other payment plugins for iDeal, like this one:

I use Joomla 2.5.8 and HikaShop 2.0.0.
Is your opinion about the Mollie plugin still the same?

The plugin didn't have update since 24/05/2011 so I think taht the situation is still the same.
