Setting Joomla Group By Registration

Hello again.
I am trying to get set the user when checked 'become partner' to get a higher level of Joomla group, i have created a new one that has partner authentication, and i need to set if user checked the box then get to this group, if not then become registered as default.

Is there a way to modify that?

Hi,

To do that, you should create a joomla user plugin and implement the event onBeforeStoreUser/onAfterStoreUser (joomla 1.5) or onUserBeforeSave/onUserAfterSave (joomla 1.6 and 1.7) and change the group of the user when the user is created.
