does any version of Hikashop allow guest checkout?

What do you need exactly ?

Because you can set the checkout as no registration, set no for login, and then only the address of the customer will be asked.
You can too remove the steps "login" and "address" in the checkout, by this way nothing is asked to the customer, but he will not receive the confirmation email.

I'm was hoping to give customers options on how they can check out. I would like them to have the option to login, register or checkout as guest.

I've seen this on a few websites and think it's a good idea - while some customers don't mind registering, some customers prefer not to. I think it also reduces the chance of losing a customer.

I need to install a shopping cart for a business and their business process requires that the customers are offered the options of checking out as registered users or guests.

I would appreciate any feedback if some has figured a way to provide the registered or guest checkout options.

Is this taking long because it's a LOT of work? Because a lot of your clients and our clients are asking for this and I'm not sure why it's not high on the TO DO list - even if you charge a bit more for the component. A lot of sites offer this feature which I personally like because I don't like to always enter my details on every site that I shop and I'm sure other shoppers feel the same.

So, please excuse my ignorance, but I'm not sure why this is taking so long to be included.

My client is asking when the Guest Checkout will be available as she thinks that the lack of that option is causing less sales.

If the option will not be available soon then she wants me to find one that has that option.

So, any idea when the guest checkout will be available?

We are currently working on other big features, and we can't give a date for the guest checkout.
If you need it fastly you can post a request in the commercial jobs section of this forum or ask to a third developer.
