For some reason the proceed to checkout button does not proceed to checkout any more. It basically refreshes the current page it is on. What did I do?

In configuration checkout I have the option 'after a product is added to the cart' set to 'always stay on the same page'
But I thought the proceed to checkout button wouldn't be affected by this?

Yes, it's not affected by that option.

It must be something else. But I've no idea what it could be. It has always worked for everyone, so I suppose that it comes from the code changes that you made somewhere.

Hello I am having the same problem, I know it is something I have done, but have been trying to trouble shoot without success.
I am running Joomla 3.4.3 and HS Starter 2.5.0. The mini shopping cart shows the order but does not have a proceed to checkout link so the customer is stuck. As this is a live site, and our customers typically order one product at a time, I temporarily have the Add to cart button link directly to the checkout page. The site is bestsquashracquets.com
Please help. I am also requesting support from the template designer, using the Gavick Strorefront template.
Thanks,
M

Hello I checked the forum at gavick and this question has already been posted and not answered. So I am back to HS, i suspect that I may have broken the template shopping cart. Is it possible to override the template and to use the HS shopping cart module? I do have the HS Cart Module published, but it may still be looking for the template shopping cart. Or I may be completely wrong and the problem is something else. I have been trying to fix this now for several hours.....Look forward to your comments and assistance. Thanks.Marianne

Hi,

Please create a new thread ; it will be far better than using a 3 years old one.
