I would like to place tabs in the product description area, but I do not want to do it for each seperate product. So would I think I would need to insert tabs via front end css so that tabs would be created for all the current products automatically.

Example--

Item description-- custom field(specs)-- custom field (shipping)-- Downloads(Instructions)

Joomla 1.7
Rokect theme template radiance
I would like to use roktabs
K2 is on the site but not implemenented yet

If I purchase business hikashop do the custom fields pop up in the add products page where description and images go?

Hi,

The information of the custom fields of the table "product" can indeed be displayed on the product page by activating the "front end" option of the custom field.
They will display as a specification table layout.
If you want to display them differently, you should edit the file 'show' of the view 'product' via the menu Display->Views and adapt the code to use roktabs.

I'm attempting to do something very similar, with the main category listing page of my store. Ultimately I want it to behave like this: demo.virtuemart.net/ . Which view would I have to edit to achieve this? Thanks

Hi,

What you can do is create modules listing the desired categories/products.
Then create a new joomla article, create tabs with the pluggin tabber for example, and in each tabs load the previously created module with the plugin loadmodule.
