"add to cart" on article page

Hi,

Thank you for the great shopping cart extension. I have used Virtuemart but this one is easier to use and seems more lightweight in a good way (page load speed, etc).

I wanted to know if it is possible to add code to a regular Joomla article page that includes the functionality of the "add to cart" button. For example, if a user selected this button it would take them to the checkout page (same as if they clicked the "add to cart" button). This would reduce the number of clicks to order an item in my particular case.

I am also putting a real life example here for the flow just in case my description above is not clear.

On this page:

-- when a user clicks on "buy now" button I would like it to got to this page:
www.slicesocialmedia.com/en/courses/checkout
-- (the checkout page)

Right now the button goes to the product order page ( www.slicesocialmedia.com/en/courses ) and the user has to then select "add to cart" to advance to the order/form page.

That's a great feature which I believe is not available in VirtueMart 2. However, can you get HikaShop to add to cart and continue shopping instead of checking out directly (as more products may be required)?

I would like to show a link to the cart and have (for now) the shopping system not shown until checkout.

Does the "Add to Cart" function work on versions of HikaShop?

Thanks for the info. I was hoping that just using the copy and paste of the html would do with a little tweak. Is there a way of "Add to Cart" doing no redirection to the checkout page without using ajax? (using just the HTML code)

Damn, that's disappointing. Why are things not simple? I guess I'll have to look at other carts.
