Disabling Registration

I know many people have asked about removing registration, but I'm having trouble with it.

A couple weeks ago I installed the free version of HikaShop. Then, about an hour ago I purchased the Essentials version and installed it. Everything went fine.

I logged into the backend of Joomla and went to HikaShop. I clicked on the "System" tab, and clicked "configuration".

I clicked on the "checkout" tab and set Registration to "No registration".

Am I missing any other steps or settings? When a person places a product in their shopping cart and goes to check out, the login screen shows (as I want it to) and there is a Registration form. I wish to remove that registration form.

Am I using the correct procedure? Am I understanding correctly that I can remove that registration form?

Thank you for your help!

That option enables you to have a "guest checkout" where no account will be created for the users when they register. You can see that now only the email and address form is displayed where before you had the username and password too.
If you don't want that form at all, you should turn off the registration of new users in the joomla configuration (or in the options of the user manager since Joomla 1.6).

Ok. I understand. I thought it was creating a regular Joomla login account, which I don't want. I changed the "Registration" heading to say "Create a Guest shopping account"

Thank you very much for your quick reply.
