MENUS

I just buy the business version of the hikashop for joomla. unfortunately i´have problem...



I need help here to configure the menus in the following condition:

First I choose the brand of the product, after choosing the brand of the product, i need a side menu with all the categories available (depending on the brand chosen) and after clicking on this menu, i want to shows only the products of the category and brand chosen earlier.

e.g -

ACER > desktops > only acer desktops


This menu must be autoupdate, when i select another brand, it must show all the categories of that brand, and after that it mus show only the products from that category and that brand.

I do not find how to configure this, please help me!

I think you're asking for something hikashop doesn't say they include in the business version.

Is possible to doit (as everything in web) but you need very good knowledge on php and the joomla! system to have something like that.

By the way, it could be a very good option to have in future versions!

still doesn´t work if i try to filter products by category...


if i set the dropdown box to show "all" products, all the producs from the manufactor is showed, but if i select one of the categories it doesn´t show anything. or even if i use a list option...


eg.

If i setup the menu like this:

menu - Category list (type category);
filter - Category (manufacturer) filter by (especific category)

It´s show the content when i click (products from that category and from the manufacturer choosen), but the filter are named by manufacturer...

if i try to use:

menu - Category List (manufacturer)
filter - Category (category product) filter by manufacturer

it show the list with all the categories (desktops, laptops e.t.c...) but when i click, i cant see any product

first i select the manufacturer (menu cathegory list : manufactures)

after select the manufacturer




then if i want to filter the products by category the result is:




in this case, those two products are inside the category "portáteis" but the filter only show then when it´s set to show "all"

help here please.... already post the images...

Sorry for the double post, but because that problem i´ve already past the dead line of this project and the client is really pissed with me.

unfortunatly i cant send you the backend pass and user because i make that menu i want in the "dirt way" i creat categories with manufacturer names and inside those categories i create all the products i need.

but to put the design the way i need to i really need the filter for that.
