Hi,
I have some products which i dont keep any in stock, i order them from a supplier upon getting an order on my shop. At the moment I have stock set to 0 for these items, however in the shop frontend on the product it displays no stock.

Is the best way for me to do this is to just put an 'imaginary' figure of 99999? or is there a setting for unlimited?

thanks

Hi,

If you set the stock to "-1" it will be transformed to "unlimited".

When i create a new product by default it shows 'Unlimited'. Is that the same as writing '-1'?

can i write either in the quantity field?

You can write "unlimited" or "-1", it is the same thing.
But it is easier and faster to write "-1" !
