You must provide at least one recipient email addr

When hitting Next from my shopping cart to take me to Paypal to do my payment, I get a screen in between that says:

"You must provide at least one recipient email address"

It sits there for a few seconds then redirects me to Paypal to complete the payment.

My account has an email address associated with it and it even fills it in in the Paypal payment page email address field. I have no idea what is creating this error.

Please make sure that you have an email address configured in the from field of the Emails tab of the configuration of HikaShop.
Could you do a screenshot of that page ?
Alternatively, you can go in the menu System->Emails and try to unpublish the email which is causing that problem.

Hi, I am having this problem as well. All fields seem to be filled in correctly, is there any other settings that affect this? Anything else I should be looking at?

I have try all your suggestions but i see always the error
"You must provide at least one recipient email address."
I'm desperate, are days that I keep trying
Can I send a screenshot in private message? I prefer don't public my mail for spam :(

Recently upgraded to Joomla 3.3.0 and HS 2.3.1 and I'm getting this same message. Everything processes fine (using Stripe plugin from CMS Techs), however this message appears. Didn't do it before upgrading. Any resolution to this? All email fields are filled out in config. Happy to provide access, screenshots, etc.

Hi,

It means that something (HikaShop, a plugin, or else) is trying to send an email but no destination email has been provided.
Please check that your HikaShop configuration is right full configured for the email part (where you can specify the email which will receive email notification for example).

I was getting the same error and was also not getting an order notification email sent to the seller (the buyer got their order confirmation email). After a couple of frustrating days following tips on the forum that got me nowhere, I was able to isolate the problem as a variable typo in Hikashop code.

If you see below, this was the error and the problem was with 'recipients' being spelt wrong. When I fixed the variable name, everything worked.

Notice: Undefined variable: receipients in /home/....../public_html/administrator/components/com_hikashop/helpers/helper.php on line 2170

so replace 'receipients' with 'recipients' and error goes away, and the order notification email also gets sent.
