Hello , i am using hikashop to sell alarm systems.
As you know such a system consists of several elements (central unit, keyboard,radar etc).
It would be very helpful to create a new product lets say "create your alarm system" .
The user then could choose one of the central unit , one of the keyborads etc.
Is it possible?
I want to be able to select from the products already in the shop (select a whole category to be available for the keaybord lets say).

Hi,

That's not really possible.

But here is what you could do:

create one joomla article for that product.
create one products listing module per category of products.
Then, use the load position system of joomla to add your modules in the article.
That way, you would be able to have the user see all the products of the different categories on one page and if you turn on the add to cart button option of your modules, he would be able to add the products of the different categories without leaving the page. So you could have something close.

Thanks for the tip.
I tried it but it shows nothing.
I load other modules (whos online) and its working.
When i load a hikashop module it shows nothing.
Any ideas?

It must be because of the hikashop options of your modules. Make sure that you configured them to display products from the correct associated category, etc.
