Good morning all

I'd like to ask a couple of questions about categories module
1. I've made one and publish it on position-7. The Font size of category name is much bigger than the size of content of other modules. How can I change that?
2. In this categories module, I have subcategories. But the dont't appear one after another but they're "stuck together"...

Appearance is like this:
Category 1
Subcategory 1Subcategory2
Subcategory 3
Subcategory 4Subcategory 5

Thank you
Theodore

Hi,

1. You can add such CSS code for that:
.hikashop_category_list{ font-size: 12px !important; }
in the front end CSS file of HikaShop that you can edit via the interface in the Display tab of the configuration.

2.You need to add the CSS code:
.hikashop_category_list_item, .hikashop_product_list_item { float: none !important; }
in the front end CSS file of HikaShop that you can edit via the interface in the Display tab of the configuration.

Hello Nicolas

For some reasons I didn't proceed with the site I was working on and couldn't verify the method you sent me to overcome the problems I mentioned in my message... Now it's the time... Another project, same logic...
I had exactly the same behavior in the new installation...
But for the first, I can't do anything... Here's my situation:
In screenshot 001 you see the front page of a site having set "None" in Front-end CSS File
In screenshot 003 I changed the parameter to "Default" and you see the two problems appearing (I'm very sorry, I know you can't understand the Greek language but I hope the problems are visible)
Based on this, I edited the CSS putting the two lines of code you sent me in the file in lines 1404 & 1406 (and also changed the white background to the desired one in lines 394 & 403) so it produced the frontend_custom.css with the results seen n screenshot 003...
The problems are still there... Can you give me a clue of what I did wrong?
I also include the default and custom CSS files...

Thank you very much for your patience

Theodore

P.S I forgot to mention that the template was made with latest Artisteer and is compatible with Joomla 2.5>... I have Joomla 2.5.6 installed in server and 1.5.8 of Hikashop

Hi,

option 3 is the way to go.
It's probably not doing anything because you didn't clear the cache of your browser when testing.
You should try that.
If that still doesn't work, please provide a link to your page so that we can check that.

Good morning Nicolas

Thank you very much for you reply... Unfortunately, that didn't solve the problem... Every time I see a page after any modification, I use Ctrl+F5 which rereads the page... I did clear the cache also using internal option "Clear cache" of Firefox, I tried IE8 & IE9 and Chrome... I see the same image... The address of live site is wwww.melissokomikoergastiri.gr .
Thank you very much for your help...

Theodore

P.S I sent you PM with login details if you like to see something...

I'm sorry to say it but I see your module properly on my end.
Each category is on its own line.

So all I can think of is that it's a cache problem on your browser/computer.

I don't see a problem with the font size of the category names. Could you give more information?
