Hello :)

I really like the simplicity of this shop but i couldn't find one function that is essential for me.

We are a graphic design company that would like to offer online order via webshop.

I would like to have text fields for each product, where the buyer could write their own input, p.e. creative brief or custom wishes. These inputs need to be shown for each individual product in every order. And we also need the option to upload files within the order.

Is this possible in HikaShop?

Thank you for your help!

Hi,

Yes, you can do that in the Business edition of HikaShop by creating custom fields of the table "item" via the menu Display->Custom fields.

Ok so the decision was made :)

Now for the next issue:

How can i place the custom fields before the payment step? i did find the "workflow" slider in settings, but it changes nothing. I would like the customers to complete the "form" (group of fields) before they do the checkout. Is this possible?

Thank you!

If you create custom item fields, the form will be on product pages directly. It's not possible to have it at the beginning of the checkout.
If you want the form to be at the beginning of the checkout, you can create custom fields of the table "order". However, that means that the fields will be attached to the order and not the each products of the order. So that's not what you want.
