Hy,

first of all, i've looked al the options, en treid a couple of things, but i didn't find it.
I'm using the basis version (starter???).

What i want is that a list of al catogeries that i fill in at the back-end come's at a specific place (where i want the hikashop menu), so i can add product's to the catogery and the customer can cycle trough the menu (catogeries links) and find the clothes...

So where can i find that (the catogerie menu). I don't want 1 link to a list at the content piece of the website, but the list of all catogeries as somekind of menu.

Thanks in advantage

Hi,

You can do that by creating a listing of category module as explained here:

hy,

thanks for your reply.

i've looked at it, and added it to the website. it looks good (i see al link list ) but i want that link list always on a specific place (that i assign trough the template) on the website, so the customer can use it as a menu to get to the right product fast.

So how can i achief that???

In your category listing module, you have a position option which allows you to select where it should be displayed on your template. Here is a video tutorial about that:

Alright, the menu is now right :P i've got only one problem... when i click a catogery, i don't get the articles of that catogery. i only see the sub catogery of that catogery.

Here is a link to the (test)website:
Link to (test) website

on the left is a second menu with the name Volwassenen. and with a subcatogerie Dames. in the catogery dames must be 2 artikles (each 10 of them avaible).
Also a sub-subcatogerie (Maat 1) got i artikel, but isn't show either...

What can i do so the menu left will let the artikles (and subcatogeries) shown on the right side ....

It seems that you didn't select a hikashop category listing menu in the "menu" option of the hikashop options of your module. You should check on that.

hy,

as far as i know, i've set that already.

i've included 2 screenshots. The first one is off the joomla options of the module, the second one is the hikashop module options...

As you can see it's set on catogerie and list (lijst).

So is this right, or did you meen somewhere else???

In the hikashop options of your module, I can see that you selected "Menu_Item_Root" in the menu option.

I suppose that this menu is NOT a hikashop category listing menu. Change that and it should work.

You configured your left category listing module as associated module of your category listing menu.
That's why it's not working:
When you click on a link in the left module, it displays the listing of subcategories and below, the associated module, which is also a listing of category.
I've changed that to the default product listing module (as it was by default when you created it before changing that option...) and not it's displaying the products listing as it should.
