Sale items on front page

Hi,

Can you help please? I would like to place some of my items that may be in different categories onto the front page if they are on sale or special offer. Is there a way of doing this please?

I created a HikaShop category called Featured Products. Then added some products into this - a product can belong to more than one category.

The created a Hikashop content module and published it to the home page in a given position.

Maintaining that category is a manual thing for me, but I don't need it automated in any way.

Is that what you want to do?

How did you publish the hikashop content module? i cannot see where to do this? i have a caterogry set up with special offers in it!

Extensions/Module Manager

Create New Module

Select HikaShop Content Module

Enter usual joomla stuff

Save (not save and close)

Then click on HikaShop Options on top right pane and enter all you need to there.
