Checkbox on registration page

Hello

I would like to place a checkbox at the end of my registration page, so that a customer can select if he wants to receive promotional emails.

It would say something like: [Checkbox] I want to receive promotional emails.

So when someone agrees or disagrees i can see this somewhere.

Has anyone done this, please help.
