URI to Hikashop / product

Hi,

before I publish the shop on my website by activating the menu entry for Hikashop and start selling a product, I want to do a test order by myself. Is there a way to access Hikashop or some product via a special URI/ URL?

Restrict your menu to the access "special" and publish it. That way, it will only appear to logged in admin users.

so, if there is no menu published to hikashop, hikashop isn't accessable at all?

You can access it like that:
index.php?option=com_hikashop&ctrl=product&task=show&cid=XXX
where XXX is the id of your product.

But if you have SEF activated on Joomla 2.5 you might get a 404 error from joomla because you didn't click on a menu.
