Setup a distributor login account

I want to create a login area for retailers/distributors so that they get to see prices, stock levels, wish list etc. Public does not see this at all.
I've tried to put a Register link at top of menu. And it says registration not allowed. I don't know where to adjust this.

The message "registration not allowed" means that you turn off the registration of users in joomla.
