Information icon linking to article

I see on the demo site the information icon on the 'sample product with options' page is linked to articles with product descriptions which opens in a pop up window. Is this a a configuration setting or do i have to manually do this?

The popup information for options open a page on your website. It can be anything, not just an article. That can be configured in the "URL" parameter of the option product.
