calculate maximum shipping dimension

the maximum shipping dimension for ups and dpd is in Germany 3,0 meters and maximum 40kg . The maximum dimension is calculated to this formula:

= 1 x longest side + 2 x width + 2 x height < 3,0 meters

above this dimensions and 40kg it can not be shipped by ups and dpd and the customer have to pick it up themself.

As you know our customer have to enter the length and width and they also choose the height (thickness) of the acrylic sheet we sold.

Is it possible to built this formula to the shipping cost, means all the cuts obove this 3 meter has to pick up and under this 3

meters the shipping cost depends to the weight.

We thought our last Webshop developper did this calculation but it seems not working, perhaps you can help us further.
