Hello,
I feel this is an option for commercial version, but not sure, so will ask.
There are product out of stock in my shop which i could order from my supplier if there is new demand for it. I would like to let customers order a product that is out of stock. I guess its called pre-order or something lie that.

Anyway, here is an example: if an item is out of stock there is only a "No stock" notification, and i would like to give customer a button or link to order a new supply of that item. Can this be done in Starter version, and if yes: how? Or do i need the Essential or Business for this?

Thank you.

There is no pre order function for now in HikaShop. There is however a wait list system where the user can subscribe himself to be notified when the product gets back in stock.

If you want, you could override the "NO_STOCK" translation key in order to display a link to a contact form so that users can request a refill from you.
More info on translation overrides here:

You mean a link to a contact form that i create my self? I was wondering how do make shop component automatically export product name, size, amount etc. to that contact form?
Thank you.

Yes, I was talking about a contact form your would create yourself.

If you want to have the product details in the contact form, I would recommend you that you contact a developer/freelancer so that he can do it for you as it will require PHP skills.
