Menu module shows javascript:void(0); !

Hi (again)

Starting to feel more and more stupid with this joomla business

I have made several attempts at creating these modules to the side that are a mini-menu of categories and products (As seen on the Demo page). I can't seem to get my head around how the hell it all links together, I have hand-drawn diagrams, read the tutorial multiple times, etc. Bloody confusing to me! I even copied all the modules and menus from the demo page .. no luck..

Anyway, the further I got was for the module to show "javascript:void(0);" when you mouse over it, and a clicky hand to go with it. But clicking the links does nothing?!

Absolutely driving me round the bend, so any help is massively appreciated. :pinch:

Many thanks,

Barney

Please follow the documentation here:
www.hikashop.com/en/support/documentatio...ml#categories_module

Then, if that doesn't work, please do screenshots of the options of your module/menu and give a link to the page so that we can see what you did and give you advices.

The option "link on main categories" is turned off and you don't have sub categories like we have on our demo website. So your module is displaying a listing of categories which are not clickable with sub categories not displayed as you don't have any. Thus, it's not doing anything.
Turn that option on and it should work better :)

Brilliant!!

Works now! How do I now set the products to display underneath the categories? I had originally tried the product display in a module tutorial but couldn't seem to get that to work

Thanks! :)

You mean inside the category listing on the left ? If so that's not possible. Otherwise, please give more information.

Yes, so that when you click on the category, it expands to show the products in that category.

So clicking on "Cricket bats" would then show the different products in that category.

Thanks,
