Problem - Price / Weight depends on size selected

So I searched the forum and read a bunch of posts but I am completely lost.

I do not understand how to make my products work how I need to make them work.

My client sells dog cookies. The dog cookie packages come in a mini-cookie and a regular cookie. Depending on which one you select, it will determine the price of the product. Additionally, each package is a different weight and a different sku. I read through your documentation and it doesn't really address this issue very clearly.

I tried variants but there is no where to alter the weight and the price according to which is selected. Then I tried option but that means I have to set up additional products. I found on the forum where someone had done this but they didn't say HOW they were able to accomplish this or which thread they read to figure it out.

We only want to have 1 product to update and maintain.

I would like step by step instructions on how to implement this into my site.

The other problem I am having is with my layout. I only want 2 columns of products but it is showing 3 columns. I can't find anywhere in the configuration where I change this.

Hi there, seems i have the same problem but i sells meat, and the quantity is an issue for me since i have to work in grams and kg , and want my customers to work out how much he will pay per weight, it would be nice to see if we can get someone to help us, this HikaShop is really nice to work with and user friendly, i will hate to unistall it and use VirtueMart that is to complex for what i want to do on my site.
