Ordering for variants

I cant seem to be able to put in ascending order my variants, for example for clothing sizes, they show in the frontend all out of order. In the backend, even though they were created in order the item numbers themselves are not in ascending order.

Never mind, i had them on the display configuration as alphabetical order, and now i have them in ID order!
