Adding a coupon Code

Sorry if this is a noob question.. but I have a product and I want to be able to apply a coupon/discount which lowers the price (-$40 for example) but only if the customer has the coupon code.

Hello,

You'll have to :

- Go to "Hikashop->System->Discounts"
- Create a new discount
- Set a coupon code, the "type" to discount, the "Flat amount" to 40, and you can set a number of time that you want this discount to be used.
- save and publish.
