Max number of characters in meta description and k

Hi.
I there a max number of characters avalible in meta description and keywords? Got my first Hikasop online, but when ading meta i cant save all information.

Yes. Only 155 characters are accepted. That's because all the search engines only use 155 characters. So entering more characters is useless.
