Adjustment in orderflow (only process paid orders)

I want to adjust the order flow in Hikashop to keep me from cleaning up and sending unneeded emails to my customers.

Now when checkout is started my customers get an email just before payment and after payment.

I would like to send my customers only a single email when payment was done. If payment is not done within certain days, or if it failed the order may be abandoned/removed.

What would be the best way of doing this?

Hi,

You can unpublish the "order creation notification" email via the menu System->Emails (Business edition). That will remove the email at the end of the checkout. You will still get the order status notification email when the order is confirmed.

and is there any easy way to have the non-confirmed and cancelled orders cleaned if older then 2 days for example?

non confirmed order can be cancelled with the order auto cancel plugin of the commercial editions.
There is nothing to delete orders automatically.

I don't see any settings in this plugin which type of orders will be cancelled.

Will this cancel created or confirmed orders?

It will cancel created order automatically after the period specified in the plugin. The cron task has to be setup in the configuration:
