SOLVED - PDF products catalog

Hi,

I'm using HikaShop Starter edition, intending to upgrading to Business ed.
Is there a way to obtain a printable products catalog? Eventually with the help of an joomla extension...

Hi,

The simplest is to create a products listing menu item via the joomla menu manager, open it on your front end and print it via your browser. If you use Chrome, you can save the print as a PDF.
Note that if you add ?tmpl=component to the URL of that menu, it will display the listing without the template around it, so it might be better for the PDF...

Hi,

Thanks, it's a very good tip and it's useful indeed!
The pages are very quickly obtained and it looks nice.
But if I want to display some more details, like the product code and the description (because they don't appear in the name)and perhaps a bigger picture? It's possible? A printed catalogue it's useful for promotion reasons and for that it should include some more info.
That kind of feature would be handy for me, in HikaShop.

If you want the product code, and you use the latest version, turn on the option "show product code" in the Display tab of the configuration.
For the description, you could for example change the item box layout option of your menu and module to "image and description". On the same screen, you can also define the images size.

I think that I should try harder and dig more in the Hikas options, it's offering enough, I see... :)
