Shopping Cart - Automatically clears itslef

Hi There

Recently encountered a problem with my shopping cart. I click add to cart, the cart adds the product in the mini cart set up in breadcrumbs, but then the cart clears itself with no progression to the checkout.

Any Ideas?

You should maybe disable the cache like it's said in the FAQ and tell me if it works.

I add products to cart, but I don't see them on each pages.
Three possibilities:
Disable the cache in Joomla configuration.
Site -> global configuration -> system -> "Cache settings".
Disable, if it's enabled, a joomla cache plugin.
Check your template' options for a potential cache option and deactivate it.

Thanks for the reply. All cache settings for template, joomla and the plugin are disabled. Still no luck.

One thing is that usually once you add to cart it takes you to the checkout automatically but this does not seem to be present. For example:

1. Click Add to Cart
2. Cart gets updated (page then starts to load)
3. Page loads - Cart is empty and the checkout is blank.

All my configurations seem good. Could be a problem with the checkout page maybe?

Any ideas?

No error messages, after turned off the "Use AJAX when possible for add to cart buttons" the cart will not update and stays empty.

Theres a new joomla update available should i download it or will this cause problems?

Yeah it is strange it was working ok then stopped. Cant think what iv done to change it as i would go back and retrace my steps if i could. The site is currently on my local server. But will be uploading the site to the domain in next few days. I will provide you with some links then.
